Who pulled the plug?

Two of my favorite web sites, Neowin and Futon Critic still remain closed.

Neowin opened briefly for about a week after their last "temporary closing" and now it's doubtful they will reopen any time soon according to friends close to the owners.

The Futon Critic was scheduled to reopen Sept 1, then was pushed back to the 2nd, then the 3rd, and now Sept. 9th.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for both of them. We're simply loosing too many of the web's best sites.
