"Screw You Guys, I'm taking my hood and I'm going home!"

As predicted by me here, Trent Lott redesigned his leadership position this morning. (I was only one day off, not bad eh.)

The internal fight within the GOP isn't over. President Bush and most of Senate is very serious about cleaning the party of these crackers. Theres about a dozen nominees with questionable histories that already have or are about to loose support. We'll probably see these nominations quietly resign or withdrawn over the Holiday break.

The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln. Hate Mongers need not apply.
