SimCity4 Release Finally Announced

SimCity 4 has gone gold and it's release date has been set for January 14th! It was originally scheduled to be released in early November but its release date has been reset several times.

You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this game to be released since they announced its development last year. I've been an avid SimCity fan since the original version that was released only for the Mac. Over the years there hasn't been a month where I haven't wasted an entire day playing it.

Since upgrading to WinXP I wasn't able to get SimCity3000 to run so I was limited to playing SimCity Live Classic for most of this year. The more I've read about SimCity4 the more anxious I got and frustrated I became with the Live edition of Classic.

I preordered a copy of SimCity 4 and also the Simcity 4 Strategy Guide from Amazon.com today and only hope it ships on the 14th or I'll be at BestBuy buying a copy and canceling my order from Amazon. This version better have been worth all the wait!!
