Canon S2 IS and Accessories

This post is just for Kat but if you happen to be in the market for a new digital camera you don't need to look any further.

Its hard to beat the Canon S2 IS, even at twice the price.

  • 12x optical zoom (36-432mm equiv.)
  • 5.3 million pixels
  • 1/2.5" CCD
  • 1.8" tilt/swivel LCD monitor
  • Color viewfinder
  • Optical Image Stabilizer
  • Ultrasonic motor
  • Extra long movie mode with enhanced VGA Resolution and stereo sound
  • Canon DIGIC II processor iSAPS
  • PictBridge and Canon direct Print compatible
  • Six special scene shooting modes

Don't be put off by it "only" having 5 pixels. Most digitals in the same price range that have a higher pixel count don't have an image sensor as large as the S2's and can't produce as vibrant or accurate images.

All the lens require a 58mm lens adapter. Lensmate will soon be offering a 58mm adapter and also offer a 52mm.

To save on shipping be sure to add everything to the cart from the same Seller. (i.e. buy everything from Amazon or Adorama Camera.)
