Firefox 1.5 Released and Must Have Extensions Update

The best web browser just got much better. Version 1.5 of the Firefox Web Browser has finally been released from months of beta testing and development.

The first thing you'll notice after upgrading is the improved speed. Boy it loads pages noticeably faster! They've also made lots of GUI improvements such as the ability to reorder open Tabs and revamped the Options menu so its easier for novices to understand.

The new Software Update feature makes updating a breeze. It now automatically downloads security, program, and extension updates in small packages in the background and prompts you when they are ready to be installed. Also, the vast majority of extensions will no longer require an update for point releases.

Speaking of Extensions, I've added Gmail Manager, QuickJava, and Restart Firefox to my list of Must Have Firefox Extentions.

If you're still using Internet Explorer you're really making a HUGE and dangerous mistake.
