Friends launch cool new sites

My friend Jason launched BattyAuctions.com a few weeks ago and has been getting some pretty decent traffic for such a new site. Batty Auctions tracks weird and wacky eBay auctions like this one for, "Mohammed Cracker." Its strangely entertaining to see all the weird auctions that people have started on eBay, especially the mixed results these type of auctions have. I don't know how Jason finds them all!

A group of friends that hangout on WyldRyde are working on BookGap.com. Noggie, crrj, Gimpi, and Mike conceived the idea as a way for students to easily find used text books, as well as sell the ones they have. The site is still in early beta and they are continuing to make improvements to it. Help them get started by adding all your used books to the directory. All fees are being waved during the beta test as they're still adding features and refining the site.
