Fon is giving away 100,000 Routers!

I wrote about Fon several weeks ago and mentioned that you can join their Free WiFi community by buying a router from them or hacking an existing router. But, now for what will probably only last days, US residents can order a free La Fonera router!

They don't ask for any billing information. But they ask you to promise to activate the router for a Fon location when you receive it. There is no stated penalty or terms if you don't. If you're not going to use it, you should pass the router on to someone else who will.
