Apple Predictions Coming True?

When I sat down to make up an April Fools joke I knew I had to do something that seemed plausible and maybe even had a basis in truth, otherwise no one would fall for it.

After a bit of thought I came up with my Apple's Big Announcements At NAB Disclosed post. Some readers where quick to shout, "April Fools." Others fell for it hook line and sinker and emailed or instant messaged me to try to pry more details out of me.

As a close observer of Apple I felt very strongly that 8 core Mac Pros were on the horizon and would have bet on seeing them at NAB. But, to much surprise Apple announced them today/a>.

The Multi-Touch displays was more of a broader guess, kinda a personal wish, but if I continue to read the tea leaves, the price drops on Cinema Displays just might be another predictor of them. Or Apple is just dropping their prices because they plan to introduce models with built in iSight cameras or maybe it's a move just to remain competitive. What do you think?

You're not far off on the MTD's. Switch Report has been touting this for some time saying they've cracked one of the biggest Leopard secrets. They also show some very interesting videos to help their theory along. Esp the 2nd one!
