The Mouse Is Still MIA

I still haven't found the missing mouse or any clues. I've searched the entire house, especially focusing on all the rooms I was in today since using it. I also interrogated Kat even though she wasn't home when I last used it and I've noticed it missing. No one else has keys or access to our home.

I've checked the toilets and the oven as per tengrrl's suggestion. Even looked in the car thinking maybe it tried to suffocate itself or something. ;)

It's like it vanished into thin air. In the interim I've been using an old mouse and will probably pick up a replacement tomorrow.

We don't know what to make of this at all. If this was a prank please let us know as we're starting to get a little scared because the alarm didn't go off, there are no foot prints in the fresh snow or signs of any unauthorized access. It's cool that you were able to pull this off without leaving any clues but it also means there is a weakness in our home's security and that is a little bothersome. So I'm asking all my friends, if you're responsible please come clean. You got us very good but we need to know now and how it was done.

Update - 04-07-2007: All our prankster friends don't have a clue about it and we searched extensively and still can't find the mouse. This is beyond strange.
