Parallels 3.0 Sounds Cool But...
No sooner than I bought Parallels Desktop for Mac, Parallels announces that version 3.0 is almost here and it'll cost $49.99 unless I take a risk and buy it now.
Despite its very impressive feature list (which includes, 3D graphics for Open GL and DirectX games, and the ability to assign Windows or Mac applications as the default for any Mac or Windows file type) I think I'm going to hold off and wait and see it first or rather see Leopard first. Mostly because it wouldn't surprise me if one of the secret features in Leopard is Windows apps can run natively within the Mac OS! That certainly would be a game over for Microsoft.
A boy can dream can't he?
