Galleon For Mac Released

An alpha version of Galleon for the Mac has been announced almost one month to the day after I named it as one of the 10 Missing Mac OS X Applications.

Galleon is a free open source media server for TiVo. It allows you to view/play content from your computer on your TV with the help of TiVo.

John Kohl picked up the Galleon project and quickly continued the development by releasing Galleon 2.3.1 and 2.4 Alpha earlier this month. The Mac version is an installer for 2.4.0 alpha.
