iStat Menus Released

System Monitoring for Mac just improved. I've been using MenuMeters on my Macs up until today...iSlayer released iStat Menus and it's much sexier.

In addition to many of the same features as MenuMeters, iStat has fancier icons, nicer looking menus (that open quicker,) it also adds fan and temperature monitors, a calendar, and a world clock. It seems to use less memory and CPU as well and since it has all the features of the iStat dashboard widget, which I can now remove, it's definitely a net gain in terms of system resources. For some it can replace additional menu programs.

iStat is donationware.
