A look at alternative energy projects

Dark Roasted Blend took a look at many Alternative Energy Mega Projects around the world.

It's good to see that Tidal Power is getting more attention worldwide. I first heard about it because of the RITE Project in New York City. Unlike wind power, tidal power is a much more consistent energy source as it uses the tides or river flow to generate power. Tidal power is also quite and unnoticeable; it doesn't disrupt views. It can be placed in rivers, bays, lakes and no one would know it's there. Tests and research shows that it doesn't kill or affect fish.

Tidal power could possibly be the solution to our energy needs and it can use all the promotion it can get.
