Get Yourself A Slice Of Champlain Orchards Apple Pie
Kat's friend, Jill served us a slice (okay it was really two) of Champlain Orchards' Oat Crumble Vermont Apple Pie last week and I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was the best piece of apple pie I've ever tasted and my mom always made a pretty amazing apple pie when I was a kid.
It wasn't simply Champlain Orchards' perfect vermont apples that made their pie tops. It was also their rich and tasty butter flake crust and oat crumble toping that had the perfect balance of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
After longing for it everyday since, I just couldn't take it anymore, and picked up another one from City Market on Sunday. It took all my willpower to stop myself from devouring it before I got home. Since, it's been a struggle to limit myself to only one slice per day because I think this pie is even better than the one I enjoyed a couple slices from last week.
If you're lucky enough to be in Vermont you got to pick up a Champlain Orchards' pie before apples go out of season. You won't regret it.
