AT&T and iPhones in Vermont in August?

The iPhone Vermont blog is reporting that the FCC has approved Verizon's purchase of RCC subject to some stipulations.

Those stipulations are to include such issues as Vermont’s only two carriers being Unicel (RCC) and Verizon. An acquisition of RCC in Vermont would mean a breach of non-competition (monopoly) here.

Thus, tied with early news I received from my unnamed sources would mean that the only way for the purchase to close is for AT&T to take over the VT Unicel wing of RCC.

I believe we will see a quick change over the next couple weeks, meaning iPhones in Vermont with VT phone numbers! Legally!

I'm looking for confirmation from my sources.
