PhotoCalc is pretty neat

80588850-2FAC-44A0-9A6F-A58DE8F7F0DB.jpg PhotoCalc by Adair Systems is a handy iPhone/iPod Touch App for photographers.

Most useful for me is the Flash Exposure calculator but it also features:

  • Exposure Reciprocation calculator
  • Depth of Field and Hyper-focal Distance calculator
  • Sunrise/sunset/solar noon calculator
  • Reference section with glossary, and reference documents
  • Configurable to English or Metric units
  • Configurable to use half or third stops
  • Comprehensive camera database for Depth of Field calculations
  • Saves position, so it's easy to switch in and out

The huge glossary and reference guide is also very handy for frustrating brain cramps. The app seems stable and hasn't crashed on me.
