Shock and Awed

jump1.gifI've been totally shocked and awed this afternoon and ever since I've literally been jumping in my chair at work and then bouncing off the walls since I got home.

Today started out to be just like any other average day. I had my regular morning production meeting and then went back to my office to complete and review the paper work. While I'm doing that in my office I usually will idle and chat in the #politics and #lockergnome Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Channels on the WyldRyde Network to keep from falling asleep. wink.gif

Well today something totally different happened. A semi-regular to the #lockergnome channel who is an actor and is always fun to have around came in and started to offer to buy a few people (almost) anything they wanted. I made a joke that I have an Amazon Wish-list and posted a link to it. I was totally not expecting anything but before I knew what was happening he said I should pick out an item or a combination of items up to $500 worth. I immediately said I'd like an Apple iPod. I've been hoping to get one for awhile now and within only a few minutes he ordered it for me! biggrin.gif

A joke you ask? Nope! Hes done things like this before for a few of the other regulars. Even buying entire computer systems for a couple people and an expensive high end monitor for another. Hes an all around great guy and always been extremely generous and sharing for no other reason I guess except to be generous and sharing.

Thanks so much Max! You're the best!

OMG yay for you. I've been wanting one too! And what's the likelihood of that? hehe
